Tara and Duane Godby
Co-Founders, Teakeasy Tea
Tara and Duane Godby are the husband-and-wife team behind Teakeasy Tea, a Black-owned, woman-owned, veteran-owned luxury tea company based in Pflugerville, built on "Luxury in Every Leaf, Melody in Every Cup." Teakeasy blends premium tea with a jazz-lounge-inspired experience, bringing the community together through curated tea service, live music, and events at their Pflugerville lounge.
Tara serves as CEO, bringing 30 years of corporate leadership experience and a certified coaching background to the brand's vision. Her work has been recognized by AARP Female Founders, Austin Women's Magazine, and Tribeza.
Duane serves as COO, overseeing operations. He is a US Army veteran with a 36-year USPS career, bringing steady leadership to the business.
